Hey LB.
Looks like it's just you and me here.
Yogini fell asleep early, so no call.
But we are traveling again tomorrow - 6.5 hour drive.
Time to call or sleep or chew gum. Whatever.
Sorry about the poop dragging. Been there.
Almost ready to hang in Ohio for a month.
On Tuesday I go to the Cleveland Clinic to
begin a new asthma trial. Very exciting...if I don't get the placebo.
Kitties know we leave tomorrow morning.
So does the Yogini. Must pack up tofu and salads.
No computer until I return a hero.
Make of it what you will.

Couscous. So nice, they "ou"'d it twice.
That's right, another sort of simple meal from Skycat's kitchen.
Boil water. In a pot with a lid, pour equal amounts of couscous and boiled water - say 1 cup to 1 cup. Cover tightly and go do something else, like write a paper or paint your toes. Whenever you are ready to eat, so is the couscous. But let's make it tasty.
Olive oil, soy sauce, pepper. (Or balsamic or anything else you like, except ketchup)
And for the non-chopped veggie sensation, throw in some frozen corn and peas.
How about sunflower seeds and nuts.
Yum.
Make a big batch, and every time you go back add an ingredient or some more oil. When you don't heat oil, it's actually quite good for you. Have a delicious day. I'm off to Cleveland in the snow.

For Luckybuzz and Gospel Bob. From J&T. A postcard from New York.

Yams.
Sweet potatoes.
Call them what you will, but they are like a happy little cooking pouch of goodness.
Just pop them in the oven. Don't poke or peel. In 40 minutes, the skin rolls away and the orange deliciousness is ready. Maybe salt. Maybe pepper. Maybe even a little pat of butter. Who cares. It's all good. Yum.
When the Yogini is gone the Skycat eats odd meals at odd hours. Did I mention the pot pie for breakfast? It's getting crazy here. Yogurt and frozen blueberries later.

*Please note: a yam is a huge tuber (that's right, I said huge tuber) that grows in hot places like south america and africa. A sweet potato is a smaller, moister tuber. Does this post belong in CL casual encounters?)

Yogini just called from Chicago.
Snow fell here. On everything.
Best show ever in New York.
Plus great food and drink with friends.
Two show weekend almost here.
Should be knitting, but...you know.
What should I cook?
Petty crook old book look nook.
Probably not.
